I have a habit of writing these profile things and they always sound terribly out-dated whenever i next look at them.

I live and work in Winchester. Hopefully that's not going to change for a while! I love this city, and i enjoy my job. I work on a small team, making web applications, programming in Ruby and Rails. I feel i am good at it, and it provides interesting challenges for me.

I am happily married to my most wonderful life partner. I am bisexual. I am interested in spirituality. I believe all major religion have their merits, but i have chosen Christianity as my path. I take great pleasure in music. I am fanatical about Linux and free software. I am keen to do whatever i can to help save the world. I am a family person.

These things are the 'givens' in my life - the things that remain the same over long periods of time, and probably become obvious after reading my journal for a while.

This journal has no particular theme. Like Hansel and Gretel leaving stones along a path, i periodically leave little extracts of my state of mind so that one day i may be able to find my way back again.
